Are there any BLACK or ASIAN players in the England women's cricket team?
Just Lesbians doesn't meet the diversity standards

There's a few nice ones in the women's cricket team to be fair.

Richard Hadlee retired Wessels = scored 70 in the first innings, dismissed by Ewan Chatfield in the second innings of his last Test

Wessels 'retired' after the first Test of the 1985/86 series
The suspicion was that he was sidelined as he was involved in recruiting players to play in a rebel tour of South Africa.

Wearing helmets against 65mph bowling? Slow motion fielding?

Struggling with this one, with all due respect to the fairer sex.......

Great result for the England Ladies cricket team, brilliant finish to the game especially when the catch was dropped the ball before and it looked like it was not our day.

The the England Ladies football team beat Spain 2-0 in the Euros with Hammer Ellen White playing her part.

Well done girls! And so what is a few are lesbians, at least they are man enough to not live their life like a lie unlike those gay men playing football.

The way they managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat was impressive.

Nailed on BBC team of the year, ticks loads of boxes.

Female
Lesbians

I'm so glad I'm out of the country for a week because you are going to have nothing but those ugly dykes plastered on your screen saying how great they are and how they deserve equal pay with the men.

Ended up being a very exciting game. But is it exciting because of the lack of quality..?

Does anyone know if the women's final is a sell out at Lords. Think they tell us a few more times

glad I never had a bet, I was about to get on England when they were cruising about half an hour ago just three down. I'm not watching it but I wouldn't put anything past the cunts running the ICC

Imran Tahir is one that came to mind later.

I am hoping we might see 4 foreign born players at times in the Ashes for Australia.
All are children of migrants
Matt Renshaw (moved to NZ aged 7 & to Brisbane a couple of years later) & Usman Khawaja (aged about 3 when his parents arrived from Pakistan) are most likely.
As a West Australian I'd like to see Aust use their best wicketkeeper Sam Whiteman (parents moved from Yorkshire when he was 2 or 3) and give more chances to Hilton Cartwright (parents were Zim farmers and fled when he was 11 before Mugabe tried to kill them).

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
Kepler Wessels never captained Australia
He moved to Australia when S Africa were banned from Test cricket to play World Series Cricket for Packer.
When that ended he qualified to play for Australia and retired in the mid 80's.
S Africa were allowed to pick him in the early 90's when they returned to international cricket and were looking for someone with Test experience

A combination of the SA quota system and the money to be made has meant there has been a steady stream of mature aged Saffas moving to England over the years.
Along with those who have been born overseas and moved as children

Have S Africa had any players recently that have been born in another country?
Have they ever fielded an English born player?

I suppose you're right, as pride is not something to be valued these days.

Mind you, he's already committed the ultimate sin of telling his fellow countrymen the best way of bowling out England's captain. But no one seemed too bothered.
